Rental Cars
You can hire rental cars from a location just near the airport and there’s plenty of parking at Edinburgh Airport when you return! If you’re planning on driving around Scotland, this is a great option. If you’re just hoping to take the car out for a few days during your trip but would like to have it as an option down the road, look into airport parking. Some options may be less than the cost of gas! The scenery throughout the country is gorgeous and having the freedom to go where you want is a huge plus!
Taxi
You can either take a black cab from from outside the terminal for UK arrivals, or, you can pre-arrange a car. It will take you about 25 minutes to get into the city and will cost between 15 and 30 Euros.
Bus
If you’re up for taking the bus, the #100 bus will take you into the city center in the same amount of time for 3.50 Euros (2 Euros for kids). The bus runs continually every 15 minutes and will take you through various points of the city up to Waverley Station.
