Luxembourg City, Luxembourg

If you’re looking for somewhere which remains off most tourist maps, then head to Luxembourg City. This particular area has a huge expat community as a result of its corporate feel and it is therefore easy to feel like a local as you’re wandering around this small city. The city is well-known for its medieval fortifications and its location in deep gorges which were once cut by the surrounding rivers, meaning you can be sure to benefit from the incredible architecture and nature surrounding the city, while remaining safe as a solo female traveller.
