2. Don’t Forget Your Sunscreen

Protect your skin by always applying sunscreen and topping it up when necessary. Even if the day doesn’t look too bright, it’s always possible that the sun can still catch your skin, especially if you’re moving about in it all day. Make sunscreen a part of your morning routine.

3. Look After Your Sexual Health

If you’re socializing with others during your travels and engaging in sexual activity, then you need to protect yourself. Meet people in a safe place and always make sure that you have protection. You can gain easy access to STI testing if you feel as though you need to check the outcome of any encounter, for the good of your own health and peace of mind!

However, make sure to slow it down and have a proper breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This will ensure that you always have energy and that you don’t risk feeling fatigued, especially in hot weather. If it’s too warm for too much food, you can still grab lighter bites and salads.

It’s natural to want to cram in as much as possible for your trip, but you need to consider downtime, too. If you’re constantly rushing from place to place and not leaving any time to soak it all in, your mind and body are going to be exhausted. Be sure to leave gaps in your itinerary to fill with relaxation time.

Be sure to take care of your mind when you travel by simply being in the moment. Enjoy your surroundings, and don’t put too much pressure on yourself to achieve too much during your travels.
